Join the National Tartan Day New York Committee with our Grand Marshal, actress Karen Gillan, and celebrate Scottish heritage and pride as thousands of pipers and drummers, dancers, clans, and dogs of Scottish breed march up the avenue.
The St. Andrew’s Society of Washington DC, along with the Society Color Guard, will be participating in in the NYC Tartan Day Parade on Saturday, April 9, 2022.
The parade begins at 2:00pm. The parade route is from 45th to 53rd on the Avenue of the Americas (6th Avenue) and begins at 2:00 PM and ends around 4:00 PM.
Prior to the parade at Bryant Park, NCTDC co-host the American-Scottish Foundation will be hosting it’s annual “Pipes and Drums on the Fountain Terrace” from 10:30 am to 12:45 pm at Bryant Park, only a couple blocks from the parade route.
Line-up for the parade is at 1:00pm and will be on the side streets near 6th Avenue and West 45th street. Refer to the Line of March to see the position of each unit in the parade and exactly where they are to line up.
